Today’s featured art is Oriental Water Garden by Rhonda L. Hall
This lovely watercolor painting definitely has an oriental flavor to my eye … it reminds me of some of the gorgeous artwork I’ve seen on the walls of a local oriental restaurant - very soothing and serene.

Today’s featured art is RISING SUN by J Velasco
Reds, oranges and pinks with some of the purple family there too are not the easiest to harmonize into a painting. I love the soft relaxing yet energetic feel to this lovely scene.
This painting would be a marvelous gift for Mother’s Day … I would frame it in a dark brown frame to match the building … or maybe a dark cherry wood? Or maybe one of the frameless glass frames with clips that I like so much … that would let this painting pop right off the wall … if the wall were peach maybe … or white … pink would work too I think. I would not use a mat … I would want the frame right next to the lovely painting.
This is gorgeous and very well done!
