Kristen is a friend of mine - she is one of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and knowing - her significant other is terrific too - he is a really nice person and both of them are lots of fun to just visit with for hours. I dearly love her art - it is gorgeous! It amazes me that anyone has the patience to do such intricate designs and for them to turn out as lovely as they do with so much impact just seeing them displayed. I buy her art to enjoy … and being an artist, someone once told me that is the highest compliment you can pay another artist - buy their art. I have a t-shirt with her beautiful Hot Celtic Dragonfly on it … everyone who has ever seen it stops me to compliment me on that and to ask where I got it. I have a button with the Cool Celtic Dragonfly on it. Everyone who sees that wants to know where I got it too because it is so lovely.
I’m saving up to purchase a Fine Art Print of her Celtic Autumn Leaves - I’ve seen it in person and it is one of the most moving (and very colorful) paintings I’ve ever seen - I want one to hang in my home - I love leaves and Kristen has many lovely leaf paintings which all whisper in the wind to me but this one grabs me by the throat and makes me terribly homesick for Iowa fall colors yet inspired to just stare at it and immerse myself into the essence of serenity that sings thorugh out this painting.
I hope you enjoy her art as much as I do. I find her art very spiritual as well as lively and energizing.
