I have always loved rocks … the colors … the shapes … the patterns … the textures … the weight … rocks are natural parts of our world that I find fascinating.
Agates are one of the loveliest in the rock family with it’s colorful layers and this abstract painting based on an agate photo in the yellow gold autumn color harmony family is spectacular.
This has become a fantasy land where pools of molten liquids puddle in quite organic well defined ground depressions. This abstract would look great framed and matted in a variety of different colors and could be used anywhere to match or contrast with decor.
It would be a marvelous gift for a rock collector too.
