My Imagekind Fine Art Greeting Cards Order Arrived
Palm Tree Ballet #1 by Barbara Burns
Imagekind now also has greeting cards as well as fine art prints and posters available. I ordered one of each of the three they offer - all this image.
I chose the exact same painting for each card deliberately. They arrived yesterday but it was late so I didn’t have time to blog about them then.
I have the watercolor original of this painting so that makes it easy to compare with the cards.
The cards are spectacular! I am REALLY pleased with the quality of the printing and the card stock.
The image does not fill the entire card [I knew that when I ordered them] … there is a small border around it … I personally like that … especially if I were going to frame this card with a mat.
The card stock is magnificent - especially the magnolia - it feels quite similar to the feel of 140 lb cold pressed watercolor paper to me. I LOVE this card … it is very professional and very well printed. It is not a cheap card at all and neither are the other two.
These are quality fine art cards. Each card was packaged [including it's envelope] inside a sealed clear cellophane bag to protect both card and envelope from rubbing against anything else in transit.
The back was so … impressive … in the middle is the Imagekind website URL [logo] … at the bottom … is MY info … the tiny thumbnail with the painting name under it, my name with a copyright symbol [no date] and my Gallery profile URL at Imagekind with the words All Rights Reserved under it.
I just stood there last nite for about 15 minutes looking at the back of the card. It was so much better than any Hallmark moment ever!!!!
These cards are very elegant and frameable … they would be marvelous wedding invitations, graduation announcements, etc. too
