New York City Color Sketch by Deborah Carney

Today’s featured art is New York City Color Sketch by Deborah Carney

I love architecture and church buildings … they tend to be ornate and quite detailed. This particular church has been converted to a public library in NY … what a marvelous way to re-use the building.

I like the perspective … one tower is out of view top and bottom … I love the contrasting colors and it is very soothing color harmony … peaceful, inviting yet still very imposing.
