Reaching by Suzee Corbell

Today’s featured art is Reaching by Suzee Corbell

This tree reminds me of how things look outside during a full moon when I take Miss Sugar Plum out,

The colors are relaxing yet the entire painting is rather eerie feeling to me - kind of that nearly between two worlds type dream state.

Lovely painting though and it looks great framed with a white mat and the black frame reflecting the black in the painting - helps add to the otherworldly nostalgic homesick feeling I get viewing this work. And I didn’t even live in a forest :) But I think the forest wants to embrace the moonlight and perhaps dance with it.
